Born in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Norval and Doris Mosser Floyd. He attended High Praises Church, and was retired from his work in sales for Atlanta Rod Manufacturing.

In addition to his wife Deborah, Rocky is survived by his son Jeffrey McCann and wife Sylvia of Greenville; his three daughters: Dallas McGuire Hemic and husband Eric of Georgia, Alexandria Floyd Willingham of Anderson and Cattleya Willingham of Anderson; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers: Zipper, Michael and John Floyd.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 17 at Rocky’s home with Rev. Chris Sustar officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM at the home, prior to the service. Burial will follow at Old Silverbrook Cemetery.
