Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Columbus Reed and Julia Estelle Smith Magaha. He was a member of Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church. Roger was a carpenter all his life, formerly worked at Riegel Textiles and retired from Self Regional Healthcare. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving are: three sons, Scott Dale (Toni) Magaha and Anthony “Tony” (Angel) Magaha, both of Honea Path and Michael Dean (Shelly) Magaha of Donalds; his daughter, Katelyn Marie Magaha; two stepsons, Joe Edwards and Michael Edwards, both of Buckstand; six grandchildren, Brittany (Justin) Pulley, Jessica (Kaleb) Lamb, Hunter (Breanna) Magaha, Jacob Magaha, Dreama Martinez and Daphne Martinez; six great-grandchildren, Darryn Pulley, Elliana Pulley, Fynly Lamb, Judah Lamb, Kynlee Magaha and Kaden Magaha; and several nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers; four sisters, and his stepdaughter, Marsha Provan.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, December 1, 2025 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Elrod officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park, Hodges, SC.
