Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of Novie P. Cleveland, III and the late Sandra Gail Lawrence. She had attended Chiquola Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her father of Honea Path are: her step-mother, Shelia Cleveland of Honea Path; two daughters, Amber (Timothy) Merrell of Liberty and Tisha (Jesse) Lesley of Easley; her brother, Novie, IV (Mandi) Cleveland of Honea Path; her sister, Amanda (Wes) Swords of Liberty; her half sister, Rachel Elizabeth (Chris) Lang of Honea Path; her step sister  Rebecca Arlene (Seth) Hooper of Matthews, NC; and seven grandchildren.

Angie was preceded in death by her mother.
