Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Richard and Eva Mae Campbell. He was a member of Pelzer Church of God. He retired as supervisor of the Card Room at Mt. Vernon Mills of Williamston.
Surviving are his wife Lavone of the home, a daughter-in-law, Annette Ragsdale of Williamston, two brothers, Bud Campbell (Sandy) of Williamston, and Mike Campbell (Betty) of Anderson, and a sister, Janice Grant of Honea Path, four grandchildren, Kelly Ann Jordan, Kayla Bishop, Kallie Ray, and Amanda Fields (Daniel), and six great-grandchildren, Landon, Kloey, Brianna, Brayden, Kaylie, Mason, and Chase.
He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Tommy Earl Campbell, two brothers, Larry Campbell, and Roger Campbell and a sister, Nellie Huskey.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, Honea Path with Rev. Tommy King officiating. A private burial will be held at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
