Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Harry Estes, Sr. and Virginia Pusser Culpepper. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was the retired owner of Culpeppers Plantscapes, LLC.

Surviving are his wife Dawn of the home, a son, Eric Freeman of Ware Shoals, a daughter Sarah Nichole Culpepper of the home,  two brothers, Harry Culpepper ( Jeremy) of Mauldin and Heath Culpepper (Dana) of Seneca.

A Celebration of Life Service with Family and Friends speaking will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Dogwood Park in Honea Path. The family will speak to friends after the service at Dogwood Park.

In lieu of flowers Memorials should be made to the Children’s Miracle Network, Prisma Greenville Hospital, 701 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
