Born in Glenville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Harold Gilmer and Doris Bradley Whitted. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Abbeville. She was a 1967 graduate of Ware Shoals High School, and retired from Self Regional Hospital where she had worked as a medical secretary for 28 years.

Surviving are her husband, Alan of the home, a brother, Jason Whitted (Janice) of Donalds, two step-sons, Michael Kidd (Amanda) and Dustin Kidd both of Vidalia, GA, four nieces, two nephews, and fourteen great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Randall Whitted, and a sister Robin Norris.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Abbeville with John Kidd officiating.
