Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late John Louis and Annisue Crumpton Pearson. He was a member of Willie Kay Road Church of God, and was retired from Food Lion of Greenwood. A graduate of Forrest College, his father was his greatest inspiration to be the man he was. He married the love of his life and enjoyed the company of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Corbin of Ware Shoals, two brothers, Donald Anthony Pearson and William Marshall Pearson, five grandchildren, Halie Pearson, Hunter Pearson (Lisa), AlexCooper, Maegan Corbin (Christopher), and Evans Corbin, and nine great-grandchildren, Lane, Oakley, Alonna, John, Alex, Eli, Nicholas, Alysa, and Daniel.
In addition to his parents and his wife he was predeceased by a son, Randall Alan Pearson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel, Ware Shoals conducted by Rev. Kevin Hastings. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
