Born in Huntsville, AL, she was a daughter of the late Bernice and Eileen Daniel. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from Erskine College. She also formerly worked at Strack &Van Til Food Market in Indiana. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are: her daughter, Penny Harris of Donalds; six grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Barry David

Kennedy; a daughter, Denita McGregor; and three sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jason Sturkie officiating.
