Charles McGaha

Honea Path – Charles Luther McGaha, 70, formerly of Honea Path, died Saturday, October 04, 2008 at the Veterans Hospital in Columbia.

Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late Andrew and Lena Coker McGaha. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church of Clinton. He was a retired welder and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are one son, Rickey Medlock of Pelzer, three daughters, Amy Jaco of Drew, Ms., Christie Ballard of Honea Path, and Angela McGaha of Due West, one brother, Robert McGaha of Honea Path, one sister, Diane Kay of Belton, and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 PM Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service. The family is at the home of his brother, Robert McGaha, 343 Parker Rd., Honea Path.
