Buck Ross

Ware Shoals – Luther David “Buck” Ross, 74 of 11859 Hwy. 25, husband of Jo Ann Stone Ross died Thursday at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Laurens county, he was a son of the late Sallie K. Ross. He was a member of Donalds Church Of God, Woodman of the World and Ware Shoals Masonic Lodge #306 and was retired after 29 years from the Town Of Ware Shoals.

Surviving are his wife of the home, one son; David Ross and his wife Sue of Honea Path, one daughter; Barbara Ross of Ware Shoals, daughter-in-law; Rita Ross, grandchildren; Wayne Ross, Linda Ross, Jason Ross, Kristy Wood and Dawn Covan and 8 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Mitchell Ross and two brothers; Harold Eugene Ross and Otis Ray Ross.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday at Donalds Church Of God with Rev. James Ray Lollis and Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
