Janice Lorene Page Jenkins, 76, widow of Larry Richard Jenkins, of Shady Grove Road, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson.
Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Fred Donald and Margaret Elizabeth Smith Page. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and retired as Bank Manager from First Federal Savings and Loan of Honea Path. She loved her husband, children, and her extended family. She took great Joy in helping to raise her grandchildren, as well as her new twin great-granddaughters.
She is survived by a son, Larry “Richie” Jenkins, Jr. (Dana) of Honea Path, a daughter, Travis Crump (David) of Honea Path, a sister, Brenda Pruitt (Butch) of Anderson, four grandchildren, Clayton Jenkins, Dustin Jenkins, Page Hedden (Thomas), and Anna Lawton (Jacob) and her twin great-granddaughters, Amelia and Cecilia Hedden.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and a brother, James Douglas Page.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Hunter Ramsey. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery

Betty Ann Willingham Elgin, 93, widow of David Elgin passed away Thursday, April 25 2024 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Belton SC, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Bessie Willingham. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Elgin was retired from her work as Assistant Vice President at The Belton Bank (later Capital Bank and Southern National Bank) after 32 years.
After retirement she enjoyed traveling with David, her husband of 56 years, all over the US in their RV. She also volunteered at the Rainey Hospice House.
Surviving are her daughters: Nancy (Johnny) Rowell of Georgetown SC and Carol Cothran of Belton; her grandchildren: Tommy Cothran IV, Scotty Cothran, Mandi Clark, Ashley Oakley, Jesse Cothran, John David Rowell, Stephanie Wilkins and Elizabeth Ann Rowell; fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was predeceased by her son Jack Elgin, son-in-law Tommy Cothran III, her brother James Willingham and her five sisters: Martha Land, Mildred Powell, Lila Willingham, Edith Thompson and Sarah Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 28 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Singleton officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, at the Remembrance Mausoleum.
The family is at their respective homes, and will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 PM at Pruitt Funeral Home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
