Elizabeth Coleman

Ware Shoals – Annie Elizabeth Finley Coleman, 89, widow of Charlie B. Coleman, of 6 East Fleming Street, died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at her home.

Born in Ware Shoals, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie Schumpert Finley. She was a member of WareShoalsFirstBaptistChurch, where she worked in the nursery for 49 years. She formerly worked for Riegel Textile Corp. Mrs. Coleman delivered for Meals on Wheels with her late husband and taught aerobics at the WareShoalsSeniorCenter. She especially enjoyed dancing at the Catfish Feastival each year, and was an always loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are: two daughters, Teresa (Tom) Camak of Ware Shoals and Brenda (Stan) Cothran of Hickory Tavern, three grandchildren, Porter (Kyle) West, Daniel and David Camak, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Jerry Garvin and Rev. Kenny Standley officiating.

The family is at the home and will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Parker-White Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Carolina, 100 Plaza Circle, Suite A-2, Clinton, SC29325 or to a charity of one’s choice.
