Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Rex Calvin, Sr. and Dorothy Davis Gambrell. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and was formerly employed by the Milliken Company having worked at the Honea Path, Peerless, and Cushman Plants. She was a graduate of Dixie High School.
Surviving are a son Jason Sutherland of Abbeville, a brother Mark Gambrell of Abbeville, four grandchildren, Jaiden, Caleb, Isaiah, and Dayton, and a great= grandchild, Raelyn Grace. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Rex Gambrell, Jr. and Tony Gambrell, and a sister, Janice Calvert.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday May 5, 2024 at Chiquola Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Thomas and Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
