Honea Path - James Howard Scott, 88, husband of Gloria Robinson Edwards Scott, of The Maples, died on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson after a 5 year battle with cancer.

Ware Shoals – James Alfred Boggs, 86, husband of Virginia Dale Jones Boggs, of 21 Higgins Drive, died Monday at his home.

Belton – Odis Bailey, 80, widower of Nellie Mitchell Bailey, of 357 Crawford Rd., died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 at his home.

Hodges – Mrs. Nell O’Dell Price Hodges, 103, widow of Blease Hodges, of 1011 E. Grumbling Rd. died Friday, September 30, 2016 in Gray Court.

Goose Creek – Mrs. Roy E. Parker (Jean) of Marietta Georgia passed away peacefully at her residence at Delmar Gardens in Smyrna, Georgia on September 26, 2016. Jean was born in Charleston, S.C. on September 4, 1920.  She was the daughter of the late James E. Wilson and Helen Latimer Wilson. Her mother died at childbirth and baby Jean was taken to live with her loving Aunt and Uncle, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Erwin of Honea Path, S.C. She gained two loving brothers in the process: Malcolm M. Erwin and Luther L. Erwin.

Columbia – Mrs. Barbara Jean Sanders Rivers, 84, widow of Theodore “Ted” Rivers, of 2108 Twin Lakes Road, formerly of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 at Palmetto Health Richland.

Pelzer- Sidney Moss Cole, 70, of 8 Dora St, husband of Carrie Louise Burkett Cole, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Rainey Hospice House.
