Ware Shoals – Judy Elaine Barton Babb, 72,  wife of Rick Babb, of Circle Street, died Monday, March 26, 2018 at her home.

Honea Path – Donald “Duck” Hugh Lindsay, 65, husband of Catherine Sellers Lindsay, of 840 Firetower Road, died Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his home.

Ware Shoals – Dr. John Howze Lake, 89, widower of Ann Ellison Lake, died Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Hospice House in Greenwood.

Honea Path – Rachel Emmaline Ashley, 74, widow of Carl Kenneth Marlow, of Honea Path died Thursday, March 22nd, 2018 at her home.

Honea Path – Randra “Randy” Lee Gilmer, 59, of 19 North Anderson Street, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Greenwood – Roger Cleve Wigley, 65, of Wesley Commons, formerly of Ware Shoals, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Wesley Commons in Greenwood.

Honea Path – Mary Rebecca Fuller Calvert, 83, widow of David Delbert Calvert, Sr. died Sunday, March 18, 2018 surrounded by her family at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.

Honea Path – Billy Gene Davis, 80, widower of the late Peggy Sue Hall Davis, of 619 Todd Road, died Friday, March 16, 2018 at AnMed Health Center.

Born in Honea Path, he was a son of the late Frank and Lillie Roark Davis. He was a member of Broadmouth Baptist Church, and was retired from Chiquola Mills. He was a member of Liberty Masonic Lodge #235 A.F.M., the Order of the Eastern Star Anderson Chapter #130, and Amaranth Monaghan’s-Poinsettia #17, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Mr. Davis is survived by one daughter: Jean Davis McCall of Honea Path; three brothers: James Davis (Peggy), John Davis (Lula Mae) and Ronald Davis of Honea Path; two sisters: Linda Brooks (Danny) and Susan Smith of Honea Path; two grandsons: Michael McCall, Jr (Meridth) and James William McCall of Honea Path; and two great-grandsons: Cameron James McCall and Mathew Levi McCall.

He is preceded in death by two brothers: Lloyd and Luther Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Broadmouth Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Hodges – William Benton “Benny” Powell, 56, of 6402 Highway 25 North, died Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Hospice House in Greenwood.
