WARE SHOALS- Billy Harris Hudgens, 81, husband of 44 years to the late Deborah “Debbie” Jean Branyon Hudgens, passed away Tuesday, March 29 at his home surrounded by his family. He was met at Heaven’s gate by the love of his life and his beloved grandchild, Tucker, as he arrived for their reunion.

Belton – John David “Junior” Taylor, Jr., 83, of Longshore Drive, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his home.

Donalds – Rickey Clyde McClain, 53, husband of Donna Marie Baynard McClain, died Monday, March 21, 2022 at his home.

Honea Path – Earl Lollis Meyers, 84, widower of Jean Bratcher Meyers, of South Anderson Street, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at his home.

Honea Path – William Robert “Bob” Corbin, 67, husband of Patricia Ann Ashley Corbin, of Martin Road, died Monday, March 14, 2022 at his home.

Honea Path – Cliff Junior Brock, 72, husband of Shirley Ann Worley Brock, of Franklin St., died Friday, March 11, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Honea Path – Patricia Ann Redden Gilstrap, 80, widow of Dearl B. Gilstrap, formerly of Tribble Street, died Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Horace Preston “Raintree” Ashley, 79, formerly of Keowee Road, Honea Path, died Monday, March 7, 2022 at Magnolia Manor in Greenwood.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late Calvin and Zessie Branyon Ashley. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He worked at Daniel Construction.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews, Susan Gambrell, Tammy Freeman, Melissa Wells, and Michael Powell.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Avery, Roy and Bobby Ashley and one sister, Loree Bruce.
