Born in Woodruff, SC,. He was a son of the late Douglas Dewitt and Carrie Lorretta Cantrell Gaillard. He was a member of the Honea Path Church of God for 49 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a brother, David Gaillard of Oregon; a sister, Myra Dollar of Oregon; two sons, Bobby Gaillard Jr. and wife Sadie of Donalds, and Fred Douglas Gaillard of Honea Path; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased bya son, Ronald Keith Gaillard, a brother, Douglas Jewell Gaillard, and a sister, Shirley Gaillard Green.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Honea Path Church of God, with Rev. Eric Shuller, Rev. Charlie Driggers, and Rev. George Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 PM. The family is at 246 Holliday Dam Rd.
