Leonard Cothran, Jr.

Waterloo - Leonard Jerue Cothran, Jr., 63, husband of Ruby Boyter Cothran of 8900 Indian Mound Road died May 31, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center. He was born in Greenwood County a son of Leonard J., Sr. and Patsy Fortner Cothran of Ware Shoals. He was formerly employed by Walmart Distribution Co.

Mr. Cothran was a US Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam War and was of the Baptist Faith.

He was an avid fisherman, and a loving husband, son and brother.

Surviving besides his wife of the home is one brother, Faron Keith Cothran and wife, Linda of Ware Shoals and one nephew, Brandon Cothran and wife, Lauren of Ware Shoals.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 pm at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home and will receive friends at Parker-White Funeral Home 1-2 pm, prior to the service.
