Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of John William Shaw Jr., and Nancy McClain Shaw Hill. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Progressive Machine and Fabrication of Starr.
Surviving are her father, John William Shaw, Jr. and wife Pat of Iva; her mother; Nancy Hill and husband Clyde of Honea Path; one son, Robert Rushton and wife Jessica of Honea Path; three brothers, Chris Hill of Honea Path, John Shaw of Anderson and Danny Shaw of Greenwood and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Ashlee Rushton and one sister, Kim Shaw.
Funeral Services will be held at 3PM Thursday at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Troy Crain and Rev. Roger Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
The family will receive friends from 2-3PM Thursday prior to the service at the church. The family is at the home of her mother, Nancy Hill 1927 Abercrombie Road.
