Born in Abbeville County, she was a daughter of the late Wilford and Cynthia McMahan Martin. She was a member of the Honea Path Presbyterian Church, a former Elder and Elder Emeritus of the church and a homemaker.
Surviving are: one son, William “Bill” Fredrick May, III of Honea Path; two daughters, Cindy May Dunn of Donalds and Corrinna May O’Bannon of Honea Path; one brother, Tony Addison Martin of Anderson; one sister Joyce Martin Ridgeway of Donalds; seven grandchildren, Keith Dunn, Jami Dunn Engeler, Kimberly O’Bannon, Wil O’Bannon, Chandler O’Bannon, Lauren May Clegg and Amanda May Stagnard; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Friday at the Honea Path Presbyterian Church with Rev. Deborah Broadwell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The body will be placed in the church at 12 Noon Friday. The family is at the home.
