Born in Anderson county, he was a son of the late Lewis and Corrine Duncan Johnson. He was retired from Riegel Textiles and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are his wife of the home, brother; Lankford Johnson of Honea Path, numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, special dog: Baby and very special friend; Wally. He is predeceased by brothers; Marvin, Clarence, J.V., Frank, Guy and Herman Johnson and Sisters; Beula Lollis, Eula Brock and Mattie Lou Pirtle.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Monday at Parker-White Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Hamman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
