Greenwood – Alma Berneice Davis Ezell, 88, of 508 D Cobb Rd., widow of H. E. “Pete” Ezell, died Monday, September 26, 2011 at Wesley Commons.
Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Genevieve Blackwell Davis. She was a member of Ware Shoals Baptist Church and was retired from George W. Park Seed Company after many years of working in the Greenhouse Research Department. She was twice married, first to the late James Lee Wilson, who lost his life in WWII.
Surviving are a two sons; James Barnette Wilson of Liberty, SC and David Timothy Ezell of Mountain Rest, SC, a daughter; Becky Ezell McAlister of Ware Shoals, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers; Jerry, Ben, Alfred, and Barney Davis, and four sisters; Frances Bishop, Belle Brashier, Polly Stallcup, and Molly Bagwell.
A Memorial service will be held at 1PM Wednesday September 28, 2011, at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Compton and Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop officiating.
