Born in Abbeville County, he was the loving and devoted husband of Bessie Brock Darby and the proud father of a 3 ½ year old Chihuahua named Hornie. He was the son of Alice Faye Darby and was raised by Ruth McCuen. He was a loving uncle to Kaylee Marie Norris and Taylor Lee Galloway. He was a fun loving guy that loved to make people laugh. He was employed for 10 years with the Town of Honea Path Water Department. He was preceded in death by Grandfather Bill McCuen of Honea Path and close cousin Lamar McCuen of Honea Path. He will be deeply missed by many.
Funeral Services will be held at 1PM Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Crocker and Rev. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial to follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home.
