Betty Ruth Phillips

Honea Path – Mrs. Betty Ruth Parris Phillips, 75, of Hosanna Health Rehab, widow of James “Catbutter” Milton Phillips, went to be with the Lord on December 21st, 2011.

 

Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late K.C. and Lucia Moore Parris and was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church.

Surviving are two sons, Stan Phillips (Sheila) of Sandy Springs and Derrick Phillips (Lisa) of Honea Path; two brothers, Bill Parris (Jewell) and Birley Parris (Evelyn) all of Honea Path; two sisters, Polly Oliver (Dale) and Jean Bryant all of Anderson; four grandchildren, Nicole, Stephanie, Christopher and Heather Phillips.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Cooper officiating.  Burial to follow in the Garden of Memories.

The family will receive friends from 12-2PM prior to the service at the funeral home.   The family will be at the home of her sister-in-law, Betty Malone, 449 Otto Lollis Road.  Online condolences may be made to www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
