James Lollis

Belton – James Rayford Lollis, 51, of 302 Kirby Rd., died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at his home.

 Born in Anderson County, he was a son of Dan William and the late Betty Ruth McCoy Lollis. He was formerly employed by the Kemet Corporation and was retired from the US Navy.  He was of the Pentecostal faith.

 Surviving in addition to his father and step-mother, Rachel Davis Lollis of Honea Path are one brother, Danny Lollis of Iva, one sister, Frances Hall of Belton, two step-brothers, Mike Jones of Belton and Stevie Jones of  Iva, one step-sister, Carolyn Robinson of Honea Path, two nephews, Kevin Hall and Richard Neal, both of Belton, and a niece, Serena Mobley of  Gastonia, NC.

 He was predeceased by his grandparents, Asa and Louise Thompson Lollis, and Clarence and Iona McKee McCoy and one nephew, Travis Hall.

 Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ron Culbertson and Rev. Ted Coody officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Anderson.

 The family will be at the home of his father, 6 Georgia St., Honea Path and will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 PM  Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
