Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late John William and Myrtle Annie Campbell Freeman. He was a member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church. He was retired from Milliken Cushman Plant.
Surviving are his wife of the home, a son Danny Christopher Freeman of Waterloo, a daughter, Sonya Diane Freeman of the home, a brother, Jack Freeman, two sisters, Elaine Freeman and Patsy Wagnor, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a grandson raised in the home, Justin Lamar Freeman of Craytonville, and a best friend, Tammy Weathers of Honea Path. He was pre-deceased by a son, Brian Lee Freeman and a sister, Kathy Freeman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Hall and Rev. Carroll Plemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories.
