Mary Whitman

                             

Pelzer – Mary Frances Medlin Whitman, 68, of 123 Springfield Dr., widow of Herman Whitman, died Sunday February 5, 2012 at her home.

 

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Wade and Sarah Medlin. She was retired from Her Majesty Manufacturing.

Surviving are two sons, Herman Whitman, Jr. (Kimberly) of Duncan, and Thomas Whitman (Vicki) of the home; three daughters, Shelby Jones (Walter), and Daisy Church,   both of Iva and Sherry Bridges (Wayne) of Fountain Inn; one brother, Reynolds Medlin of Laurens, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by three brothers and five sisters. 

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Wednesday February 8, 2012 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey Knight officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30PM at Smyrna Cemetery in Lowndesville.
