Jerry Lee “Toby” Watts, Sr.

Ware Shoals – Jerry Lee “Toby” Watts Sr., 72, widower of Peggy Jo Davis Watts of 10384 Indian Mound Rd. died Monday, March 26, 2011 at his home.

Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late James R “Tab” and Bertha Boland Watts.  He was a member of the West Main Street Church of God and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He was a former truck driver with Carolina Pride and AmCam Trucking.

 Surviving are one son, Jerry Watts, Jr. and wife Terri, two daughters, Andrea Kay Hilley and husband David, and Nancy Veal and husband William, all of Ware Shoals, seven grandchildren and sever great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a brother, James E. Watts.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 2 pm at West Main St. Church of God with Rev. John Tyson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
