Born in Hart County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Thomas L. and Julia Edwards Lowe. She was a member of Keowee Baptist Church and was retired from Pilgrim Curtain Co. of Ware Shoals.
Surviving are a son, Douglas M. Pruitt and wife Jane and a daughter, Mrs. Tandy (Calvene) Woods III, all of Honea Path, three grandchildren, Jana Lott and husband Jeff, Marty Woods and wife Kelly, and Kevin Woods and wife Molly, and eight great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by three brothers and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Keowee Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Lee and Rev. Jerry Mize officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home. The family is at the home of her son, Doug Pruitt, 4503 Keowee Rd.
