Ware Shoals – William Earl Walker, 64  of 4 Dogwood Lane, husband of Virginia Lynn Watt Walker, died Tuesday at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenville county, he was the son of Dorothy Woods Walker of Greenwood and the late Earl Walker. He attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church and was retired from textiles and retired from the National Guard after 20 years of service.

Surviving are his wife of the home, mother of Greenwood, two daughters; Amy Peeler and husband David of Ware Shoals and Tara Childress and husband Brad of Ware Shoals, four grandchildren; Seth Walker Childress, William David Peeler II, Graham Walker Peeler and Davis Brooks Peeler. He was predeceased by a brother; Ricky Steven Walker.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Thursday at Parker-White Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Dr. Marcus Bishop and Rev. Mark Strickland. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at Parker-White Funeral Home. The family is at the home of a daughter; Amy Peeler, 104-A Green Acres Drive. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
