Ware Shoals – Opal McLaughlin Wrenn Crowe, 80 of 181 Poplar Springs Road, widow of Ralph Wrenn died Monday at Magnolia Manor in Greenwood.

Born in  North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Mack and Ruby Gibbs McLaughlin. She was a homemaker and had attended Friendship Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son; Richard Wrenn of Ware Shoals, one brother; Claude McLaughlin of Arizona, three sisters; Genevieve Gambrell of Honea Path, Peggy Owens of Statesville, NC and Betty Wright of Anderson and daughter-in-law; Rayette Wrenn, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son; Boone Wrenn.

Graveside services will be 3 PM Wednesday at Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery with Rev. Grady Lothridge and Rev. Tommy Wooten officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 PM Wednesday at Parker-White Funeral Home. The family is at the home of her son; Richard Wrenn, 42 Ezell Drive, Ware Shoals. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerwhitepruitt.com
