Izora Boiter

Hickory Tavern- Emma Izora Elledge Boiter, 94, widow of F. Ernest Boiter, of 139 Sprouse Rd., died Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Self-Regional Medical Center.

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late James Newton and Emma Elledge Elledge. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and was a seamstress, retired from Tavern Sportswear. She was also a member of the D.A.R.

Surviving are two sons: Jim Boiter and wife Mary of Belton and Kevin Boiter and wife Anne of Ninety Six, and one grandchild, Molly Elledge Boiter of Belton. She was predeceased by a brother: James P. Elledge and two sisters; Mary Elledge Johnson and Julia Elledge Bullock.

Funeral services will be held at 3PM Friday, August 17, 2012, at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Garrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-3PM prior to the service at the church.
