Dorothy Nabors

Waterloo- Dorothy Madden Nabors, 80, widow of James O. Nabors, of 2202 Arnold Lane, died Monday, October 29, 2012, at Self-Regional Medical Center.

Born in Waterloo, she was a daughter of the late John Boyce and Janie May Madden. She was a member of Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from Riegel Textile Co.

Surviving are two sons, John Brandt Nabors and wife Debra, and Rick Nabors and wife Sue, both of Waterloo, a daughter, Patricia Tyler and husband John of Waterloo, a brother, Jack Kernells of Hodges, five grandchildren, Paula Taylor and husband Travis, Mary Lee and husband Heath, Tracy Tyler, Madelyn Nabors, and Tyler Lynch, and two great-grandchildren, Terry and Addison Taylor.

She was predeceased by two sons, James Raymond and James Rodney Nabors and one brother, Billy Ray Madden.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012, at Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church at 2PM with Rev. Tommy Wooten and Rev. Billy Pinson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
