She was a daughter of the late Eugene and Mamie Darby Chapman. She was the widow of Eugene Francis Poore. Formerly of Honea Path, Pauline passed away in Florida, where she lived with her niece and nephew, Linda and Jose Flores, for 10 years.

Surviving are: one sister, Eugenia Austin of Florida, nieces and nephews, Kathy Austin and family of Florida, Philip, Melissa, and John McHugh of Florida and New York, Carol Pendergast, Jerry Jones, and Kenneth and Martha Darby, all of South Carolina, George and Billy Pendergast, both of New York, Wallace and Martha Brockell and family and George and Barbara Brockell, all of South Carolina, Best Friend, Vivian Goldsmith, and special and caring friends, Doug and Pat Alexander, all of Honea Path.

Memorial services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2012 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Ellison officiating.
