Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Grady W. and Pearl Owens Timms.  She was a member of First Assembly of God and was retired from Honea Path Pharmacy.

Surviving are a son, Lee Taylor (Donna) of the home; three sisters, Gladys Strickland of Ware Shoals, Laura Kirby and Selma Ashley, both of Honea Path; four grandchildren, Cullen Taylor of Honea Path, Randee Beasley of Due West, Kala Turner of Ware Shoals and Amber Beasley of Greenwood and one great-grandchild, Hunter Smith of Greenwood.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Edna Moore and Frances Cox.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at First Assembly of God with Rev. Andrew Overby and Rev. Homer Gilmer officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1-2PM.  The body will be placed in the church at 12 noon.  Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
