Dot Griffin

Hephzibah, GA – Doris “Dot” Elizabeth Davenport Griffin, 83, widow of Edward Wylie Griffin, of 2404 Quail Court West, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

 

 

Born in Ware Shoals, SC, she was a daughter of the late John Robert and Lula Mae Gambrell Davenport. She was a member of Dallas Heights Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Surviving are: two daughters, Donna Griffin Bican of Huntsville AL, and Janice Griffin Graves of Hephzibah GA, a sister, Ann Cooke and husband Bob of Anderson SC, two grandchildren, Jason and Jamie Powell and a great-grandchild, Elizabeth Powell, all of Hephzibah GA.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Hodges SC.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. Parker-White-Pruitt Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
