Anderson – Donald Milton Ashley, 61, of 122 Heidi Dr., widower of Mary Louise Curry Ashley, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at AnMed Health Center.
Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Edgar and Susie Cowart Ashley. He was of the Baptist faith and was formerly employed by Michelin.
Surviving are: two daughters, Angie Williams of Starr and Belinda Morgan of Anderson, three brothers, Marshall and Randy Ashley, both of Belton, and Steve Ashley of Anderson, two sisters, Christine McKee and Vickie Watkins, both of Belton, and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Marion Ashley, and a sister, Sandra Ashley.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, March 11, 2013 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carroll Plemmons and Rev. Ralph Ashley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Bethel Baptist Church cemetery.
