Born in Anderson County he was a son of the late Theo Ashley and Janie Arveline Brock Wilson. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are two brothers, Cecil Ashley of Abbeville and Dale Ashley of Belton, and three sisters, Francine Weathers of Belton, Shelby Brock of Honea Path, and JoAnn Brock of Honea Path.
Graveside Services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Mize officiating.
