Jim Scott

In Loving Memory of James Michael Scott, 60, husband of Gail Scott from Fountain Inn, S.C. passed away to eternal rest on Saturday, April 27, 2013 and is now in Heaven with his Almighty Father.

 

Jim was a proud and dedicated Courier for the Cancer Centers of the Carolinas. Jim lived his life as a devoted, caring, loving husband, son, brother, and friend. He touched many with his kindness and warm heart. He was a graduate of Dixie High School, Due West, and Forrest College. He was a former Donalds Town Councilman for many years.

Jim is preceded in death by his loving mother, Cleo Higdon Scott. He is survived by his wife Gail Scott, of the home, his father, James Scott of Donalds, his sister, Jan Scott Latham and husband John of Easley, nieces April Latham Smith and husband Justin, Alicia Latham Schwark and husband Andy, two step-sons Robert Shedlock II and Michael Shedlock, a great niece, nephew, and two grandchildren, many aunts, uncles and loving cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home, 603 N. Main St., Honea Path with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating. Burial will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park, Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Tuesday at Pruitt Funeral Home prior to the service. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
