Mrs. Lois Tinsley
Honea Path – Mrs. Lois Inez Brock Tinsley, 94, of 107 Tribble Street, wife of Clarence Bobby (Bob) Tinsley died Saturday at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson county, she was a daughter of the late Claude Brock and Ellen Hughes Brock. She was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church, the WMU and was retired from Parke-Davis.
Surviving are her husband of the home, one daughter; Peggy Alewine of Level Land, two sons; Billy Smith and Haynie Smith both of Honea Path., five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son; Ray Smith, six brothers; Roy, A.C., Olin, Ernest, Freddie and Raymond Brock and three sisters; Ida Mae Gambrell, Eunice McCuen and Louise Garrison.
Services will be 2 P.M. Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. prior to the service Monday at Pruitt Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or Chiquola Baptist Church Building Fund, 405 E. Greer Street, Honea Path, SC 29654.
