Skeet Henderson

Waterloo – Carl Edward “Skeet” Henderson, 68, husband of Donna Griffin Henderson, of 676 Pemberton Rd, died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at his home.

Born in Laurens County, he was a son of the late J.C. and Belle Stewart Henderson. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Monsanto.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are: a son, Kenny Henderson and wife Crystal of Ware Shoals, a daughter, Michelle Benton of Newberry, four brothers, John Henderson and wife Martha of Taylors, Robert Henderson and wife Gail of Waterloo, Glenn Henderson of Laurens, and Frank Henderson and wife Laura of Laurens, a sister, Edna H. Mattison of Anderson, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Joe Henderson and a sister, Alice Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Parker-White Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Bullion officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
