Tommy Maroney

 

Waterloo – Tommy Joe Maroney, 70, of 196 Nolichucky Rd, died Sunday at the Hospice House in Greenwood.

 

Born in Rison, Arkansas, he was a son of the late Thomas Earl and Nellie Josephine Hall Maroney. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired construction superintendent.

Surviving are three sons, Michael Maroney and wife Renee of Las Cruces, N.M., Thomas “Tommy” Hall Maroney of Waterloo, and Lucky Joe Maroney of Waterloo, two daughters, Kimberly Maroney Lowe and husband Chuck of Rogersville, Tn. And Shari Maroney Young of Mobile, Al., two step-daughters, Bootise Wrenn Baker of Waterloo and Dusti Wrenn Rexroat and husband Chris of Fayetteville, N.C., a brother Victor Mac Maroney of Banks, Arkansas, ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Royette Maroney of Waterloo and a special friend, Jeff Greene of Waterloo.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday and a Memorial Service will be held at that time at Parker-White Funeral Home, Ware Shoals. Interment will be in Harrison Memorial Cemetery on Thursday at 10 A.M.

  • Visitation: 6-8 P>M. Wednesday with Memorial Service at 7:30
