Sandra Mitchell

Ware Shoals - Sandra Rose Carver Mitchell, 64, wife of Ronald C. Mitchell of 84 Turkey Creek Rd. went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2013 at her home. She was born in Greenville, S.C., a daughter of Jimmie Rose Carver and the late Rev. Roderick “Rod” Carver. She had served as a Missionary in Guatemala for eight years and is retired from Bi-Lo.

 

She is survived by her mother of Ware Shoals, her husband of the home, five daughters, Traci McKee and husband, Kevin, of Ware Shoals, Darci Horne and husband Chris, of Charlotte, NC, Rachel Wilson of Monticello, Il., Amanda Mitchell, of St. Petersburg, Fl., and Tyler Julian and husband Justin, of Clayton, N.C., three sons, Matanias Tackels of Greenville, Manold Tackels of Columbia, SC, and Kenneth Mitchell of Denver, Co., two brothers, Steve Carver of Waterloo, Danny Carver of Easley and nine grandchildren, Sydni, Gabe, Michael, Nicolas, Braydon, Jacob, Max, Scarlett and Savannah.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 17 at 11am at Calvary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. James Davis and Rev. Jeff Lethco. Burial will follow in Turkey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at the home and will receive friends at Parker-White Funeral Home on Sunday from 6-8 pm . Memorials may be made to The Faith Home, Box 39, Greenwood, S.C. 29648.
