Honea Path – Robert Earl Ballard, 75, formerly of Honea Path, died Sunday July 7, 2013 at Laurens County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Abbeville County, he was the son of the late Robert William and Agnes Haynes Ballard. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Honea Path and a retired farmer.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Homer Gilmer officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview cemetery.
Relatives are at their respective homes and will receive friends 2-3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Laurens Memorial Home, 3744 Torrington Rd, Laurens, SC 29360. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com.
