Belton – Valentine Wally Kolak, 95, of 1422 Trail Road, widower of the late Margaret Smith Kolak, died Monday, August 12, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in New York State, he was a member of Austin Road Baptist Church, he served in the U.S. Army in WWII and was a retired carpenter.
Surviving are: two step-daughters, Patricia A. Smith and husband James of Honea Path and Mary Lee Westmoreland of Travelers Rest and a special friend, Sarah Timms.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 PM at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Slatten officiating. Burial to follow at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Austin Road Baptist Church, 1619 Austin Road, Honea Path, SC 29654.
