WARE SHOALS - Margaret Evelyn Dower Bagwell, 88, widow of William Charles Bagwell, of 5581 Hwy. 252, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Wesley Commons in Greenwood.
Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Marvin A. and Birdie Lee Hughes Dower. She was a member of Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was retired from Riegel Textile Corp.
Surviving are two daughters: Linda Bagwell Hinson and husband J. Frank of Greenville, and Charlene Bagwell Burel and husband Benny of Ware Shoals, two sisters: Elton McKinney of West Columbia and Bobbie Hopkins and husband Harold of Ft. Pierce, FL, three grandchildren: Greggory O’Dell and wife Lisa of Glencoe, MN, Charlton Lee O’Dell and wife Allison of Franklin, TN, and Tamara Rhodes and husband Tracy of Abbeville, and six great-grandchildren: Greggory O’Dell, Jordon O’Dell, Kaylee O’Dell, Tucker O’Dell, Anna Katherine Rhodes and Emily Rhodes.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Honea Path Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ted Coody and Rev. Gene Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
