Stanley Ouzts

Anderson – Stanley Eugene Ouzts, 68, formerly of Ware Shoals, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Born in Abbeville County he was a son of Mary Ashley Ouzts and the late Henry W. “Dag” Ouzts. He was of the Baptist faith, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Donalds are: a son: Thomas Ouzts and wife Terri; two daughters: Lee Johnson and husband Harvey, and Kim Ouzts and special friend Dale, all of Ware Shoals; one brother: Roger W. Ouzts of Belton; two sisters: Debbie Moore and husband Roger of Hodges, and Diane Ashley of Belton; two grandchildren: Michael and Levi Ouzts; and four step-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by one sister, Patsy Lollis.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Cannon officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

The family is at the home of a sister, Diane Ashley, 5988 Belton Hwy., Belton, and will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM at Pruitt Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.ParkerWhitePruitt.com
