Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late John Guy and Audrey Martin Ashley.  She was twice married first to the late Kenneth L. Coleman, Sr. and was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and retired from Chiquola Mills.

Surviving are:  one son, Kenneth L. Coleman of Honea Path; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two sons, Guy Ellis and Martin Coleman; four brothers, William Blake Ashley, Sr., Jerry Ashley, Randy Neal Ashley and John Ashley; two sisters, Blanche Ashley and Nancy Smith.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Wednesday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Powell officiating.  Burial to follow in Eastview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 3 PM prior to the service.
