Neely Belle Suber

Belton – Neely Belle Ashley Suber, 76, widow of Nicholas Gessner Suber, formerly of 323 Rube Ashley Rd, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at NHC of Anderson.

 

 

Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late J. Raymond and Clarice Murdock Ashley. She was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church and the Homemakers Sunday School Class. She formerly worked for Abbeville County Schools and was a homemaker.

Surviving are: a son, Raymond Neil Suber and wife Pam of Honea Path, three grandchildren, Nicholas Russell Suber of Honea Path, Ansley Ruth Moore and husband Matthew of Anderson, and Alexandria Taylor Gambill of Honea Path, and two great-grandchildren, John Grayson Gambill and Matthew Lincoln Moore. She was predeceased by two brothers, George Dean and John Douglas Ashley.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2013 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Landrum Reese and Rev. Jeremy Colloms officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at home of her son, 604 Sherwood Ave, Honea Path and will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Pruitt Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to The Mt.
