Honea Path – Selma Ada Timms Ashley, widow of Barron Ashley, formerly of 101 Louisiana St., died Saturday at Twin View Nursing Home in Twin City, GA.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Grady and Pearl Owens Timms. She was of the Baptist Faith and had worked as a Registered Nurse.
Surviving are two sisters, Gladys T. Strickland of Ware Shoals, and Laura T. Kirby of Honea Path, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Edna Moore, Corrine Taylor, and Frances Cox.
Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Garden of Memories with Rev. Homer Gilmer officiating. The family is at their respective homes.
